Born in Devon and raised in Eswatini, Jack was educated at the United World College, Waterford Kamhlaba. After migrating back to the United Kingdom, he pursued a career in aeronautical engineering and became a certifying body for a large British airline.
In this pursuit, he left his family in Africa, aged eighteen and he found himself in shared accommodation (HMO). It wasn’t long until he had recognised what he liked from a tenants perspective and bought his first property in 2014 to deliver a product that stood head and shoulders above the rest. Since then he has built a portfolio of high quality HMOs in South Wales orientated around providing tenants social and homely homes.
He founded Ikhaya Investements in 2018 and steered the company through the turbulent years that followed.
